Moody says ‘Sendle for eBay’ is targeted at the SME sector.
Sendle has announced a third e-commerce partnership in less than four weeks, this time with online shopping giant eBay.
Starting today, sellers linked to eBay can directly connect their eBay accounts with Sendle to instantly create shipping labels and receive access flat-rate pricing throughout Australia.
They will have access to Sendle’s door-to-door delivery service, including free pickups at relatively low prices.
"We’re thrilled to be partnering with eBay, Australia’s largest online marketplace, to make it easier for eBay sellers to get items to their customers," Sendle CEO James Moody says.
"‘Sendle for eBay’ is levelling the playing field for small and medium-sized eBay sellers giving them a new shipping option that is simple, reliable and affordable."
eBay Australia & New Zealand small business and shipping director Amrita Blickstead says the deal offers sellers more flexibility with a no lock-in contract and no minimum spend to access the service.
"We hear from our sellers that shipping can be one of the biggest pain points in running a business," Blickstead says.
"The integration with Sendle is designed to remove some of this friction, and will allow our 40,000 small to medium sellers to be more efficient and sell instantly without being locked into a contract or a minimum spend".
The service includes a free shipment tracking facility.
